Major restrictions
For entry into Azerbaijan
International travel to Azerbaijan is permitted for vaccinated travelers. There are exemptions for non-vaccinated citizens and residents.It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.
Exceptional travel
Exemptions to the border closure are in place for non-vaccinated Azerbaijani citizens and residents and those with a special exemption, such as those with a work permit. Vaccination required
Travelers are required to present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19 with the use of an approved vaccine.The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.
Alternatively, those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from vaccine requirements and may provide proof of a positive PCR test, issued at least 14 days and not more than 180 days, before departure.
Non-vaccinated Azerbaijani citizens and residents and those with a special exemption are exempt from vaccination requirements.
