- passengers traveling to Abu Dhabi (AUH) with a tourist visa issued by Abu Dhabi;
- passengers who are traveling to Abu Dhabi (AUH) and arriving from Australia, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, China (People's Rep.), Chinese Taipei, Cuba, Greenland, Hong Kong (SAR China), Iceland, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Mauritius, Morocco, New Zealand, Portugal, Russian Fed., Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, Tajikistan, United Kingdom or Uzbekistan with a pre-arranged visa issued by any emirate;
- nationals of Indonesia traveling under the Safe Travel Corridor program. They must have an entry permit and a return ticket.
    1. Passengers who in the past 14 days have been in or transited through Nigeria or South Africa are not allowed to enter.

- nationals of United Arab Emirates;
- passengers with a diplomatic passport.

  1. Passengers arriving at Dubai (DXB):
- are subject to medical screening, and

  1. Passengers traveling as tourists arriving at Dubai (DXB) or Sharjah (SHJ) must have health insurance.
    Residents of United Arab Emirates with a residency visa issued in Dubai returning to Dubai (DXB) must have a GDRFA approval obtained before departure at https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/SmartOTCServicesPortal/ReturnPermitServiceForm.aspx .
    Residents of United Arab Emirates must have an ICA approval obtained at https://smartservices.ica.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/guest/index.html#/residents-entry-confirmation before departure.
- This does not apply to passengers returning to Dubai (DXB).
    1. Passengers entering Dubai (DXB) or Al Maktoum (DWC) from India must have a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 48 hours before departure of the last direct flight to United Arab Emirates. The test result must be in Arabic or English and must be issued by an approved laboratory listed on https://preflighttest.com/ or a laboratory accredited by the departure country. The test result must also have a QR code.
  • This does not apply to:
- nationals of United Arab Emirates;
- passengers younger than 12 years;
- passengers with disabilities.

- have a printed negative COVID-19 rapid test taken at most 4 hours before departure of the last direct flight to United Arab Emirates.

- passengers arriving from the United Kingdom;

Passengers entering or transiting through Abu Dhabi (AUH) from the United Kingdom must have a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to United Arab Emirates. The test result must be in Arabic or English and must be issued by an approved laboratory listed on https://preflighttest.com/ or a laboratory accredited by the United Kingdom.

    Nationals of United Arab Emirates entering Dubai (DXB) or Al Maktoum (DWC) are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival.
    Passengers entering Abu Dhabi (AUH), Al Maktoum (DWC), Dubai (DXB), or Sharjah (SHJ) could be subject to a COVID-19 PCR test and quarantine.
    Visa on arrival facilities at Abu Dhabi (AUH) restarted.
    Expired residence permits issued by the United Arab Emirates that have been extended until December 2020 are accepted for entry. Passengers must present proof of the extended validity.
    Nationals of South Korea traveling under the Fast Track program must have an 'Isolation Exemption Certificate'.
    Passengers are allowed to transit through Abu Dhabi (AUH) for a maximum of 24 hours. Passengers must have a confirmed airside hotel booking if their transit time exceeds 12 hours.
    Nationals of Nigeria must have a return ticket, and a hotel booking or proof of accommodation address for the period of intended stay.
- This does not apply to passengers with a resident visa.
    1. Passengers arriving at Sharjah (SHJ) must download the ALHOSN App.
      Flights from Nigeria and Yemen are suspended.
      Until 7 May 2021, flights from South Africa are suspended .
      Airline crew without a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test result of a test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point are subject to quarantine until their next flight.
      Effective 25 April 2021, flights from India are suspended.
    2. Effective 25 April 2021, passengers who in the past 14 days have been in India are not allowed to enter and transit.
  • This does not apply to:
- nationals of United Arab Emirates;
- passengers with a diplomatic or an official passport traveling on duty;
- passengers with a golden visa issued by United Arab Emirates;
- passengers transiting through United Arab Emirates to return to India as final destination.
